Sagar holds an Masters Degree in Technological Design of Embedded Systems from NUS and has a Engineering Degree from Bombay University, India. Sagar has joined ARL, with an interest in underwater communication and navigation systems of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles.

Prior to joining ARL, Sagar was an Executive and Chief Architect for GS Lab India, involved with product development in VOIP domain. He has worked on usage of PBX for VOIP security using ZRTP. Sagar had co-founded Mobiwave, a company specializing in network products and protocol analyzer for Bluetooth. Sagar has held technology responsibilities with DEC, SONY, Citicorp working on products and solutions in Networking domain.
