Paul is originally from England. His first degree was Electronics, Music and Media B.Eng(Hons). He also holds a PhD. in Graphical approaches to stability testing and design for 2 and n-D feedback systems - basically applied mathematics !!!

His academic interests are mathematical modeling and multidimensional spaces, signal processing and neural networks. Currently he is working on the Classification of Whale song using wavelet transforms and neural networks, noise removal and signal extraction using similar technologies and acoustic classification of coral.

Personal interests include painting, film making, and playing piano, guitar and sitar.
