Parijat Deshpande is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from Govt. College of Engineering, Pune University, INDIA. He first joined ARL as a Research Engineer in 1997 and worked with the Mechanical Engineering Design aspects of ROMANIS.

In 2001, his wanderlust took him to Gothenburg, Sweden, where he completed his MSc Degree in Applied Acoustics at the Chalmers University of Technology as well as worked at the SKF Bearing factory as a Consultant on a Vibro-Acoustic Project.

Currently, he is back to ARL and working on the Design and Development of Thin Towed Array.
